On January 31, 2010, Dewi Sant became the first band to play at s00kr33m’s in Boulder, CO. About 30 concert goers came out for the performance and somehow fit themselves into my tiny apartment. After the show, as the band packed up their instruments, Michael Morris, lead singer and guitar, told me he’d soon be back to the region to promote some new songs he was working on. Well, just a little over six months later he’s back in Colorado touring again.
Pollination Population, powered by Kate Ersing, has been busy since she last performed at s00kr33m’s in late March. She has played numerous shows in Denver, including sets at the Underground Music Festival (UMS), the Larimer Lounge, the Walnut Room and even made a late night appearance at the last BackForty show in Denver.
These two bands will be performing at s00kr33m’s on Monday, August 16, 2010. Come enjoy yourself and make friends.
